Playground Inspections of New England, LLC
Realizing there was a need for professional 3rd Party* inspection services in New England, Playground Inspections of New England, LLC (PINE) was established in 2013, and has since provided over 500+ inspection type services. PINE works with towns and municipalities, facility managers, private schools, child care centers, YMCA's, and therapeutic settings throughout NE to help minimize and avoid risks presented by possible playground hazards.
Our MISSION is to help identify hazards before they result in injuries and work with the owner to ensure they have a standard of care in place. A playground standard of care typically includes an audit, inspections [high and low], pro-active maintenance and proper record keeping. We offer recommendations and solutions which reflect our common sense approach to safety, maintenance, accessibility, and compliancy.
PINE offers its expertise in keeping a new or existing playground within the regulations of the industry following guidelines of CPSC, ASTM and advises on accessibility requirements from the DOJ 2010 ADA Standard for Accessible Design, and also MAAB.
In addition to inspection services, PINE offers park and playground consulting services. PINE works with cities and towns, landscape architects, engineers and private institutions to oversee and coordinate new and existing playground projects.
We are fully insured for the services we offer.
*PINE does not repair, install, or sell playground equipment, parts, or surfacing.
